Viktor

Viktor's character is inextricably tied to his disability, disease, and growing up impoverished. He was born on the "wrong" side of the river, surrounded by pollution and corruption. He describes himself as an outcast because he is "poor, crippled, from the undercity." His ambitions to find a cure for himself is fueled by a desire to help others like him; when he becomes the Herald, he immediately uses his power to heal people suffering from drug addiction and its physical side effects.
